Many people have a fear of the dentist, and with older, more archaic dental practices, we understand where that fear comes from. Dental practices of the ages utilized whatever means they had to perform oral surgeries and treat patients—often without the aid of any sort of painkiller.
At Mountain Springs Dental, you don’t need to be afraid. Thanks to the advanced dental technology that we implement at our practice, you can enjoy all the benefits of great dental work in a friendly and familiar office.
Our talented team is made up of skilled individuals who work together to make our goals as a practice a reality. Our patients come first—that is our primary goal. In keeping with that standard, we strive to create and perpetuate a welcoming, comforting environment in our office serving the Ogden, Utah, area. We do this by providing high-quality dental work with advanced dental technology.
Dental Technology at Mountain Springs Dental
Dental technology is always expanding and exploring new ideas and concepts—and we’re always learning right along with it. Each and every new dental technology we choose to incorporate at Mountain Springs Dental is chosen specifically to make your treatment process easier and more streamlined.
At Mountain Springs Dental, we use two particular types of dental technology that make it easier to treat your smile:
Normally, this wouldn’t be a technology thing, but for the last 2 years, Mountain Springs Dental has been using a special light keyed to the changes that cancer creates. If that helps clinicians see the mouth in a whole different. . . light. If they can see the changes earlier, they can catch it earlier.
Our dental lasers are versatile and can be used for anything from a regular dental cleaning to a surgical procedure. Lasers allow us to provide treatment that is faster, cleaner, gentler, and more accurate. Even more, treatments done with a dental laser are faster to heal from, because they don’t require the additional help of post-procedure healing such as sutures.
X-rays allow us to get a closer look at your teeth—inside and out. Without the type of image an x-ray provides we wouldn’t be able to detect issues or potential issues that lie under the surface of your teeth. Plus, digital x-rays are much safer for your overall health, using more than 80% less radiation than traditional x-rays.
